Today, I watched Video 11 of my #MyronGoldenVideosOldestToNewestChallenge — but here’s the funny thing:
It was titled Wealth Creation Part One, which logically should have come before Day 2’s video (Part Two).
But I found Part Two on YouTube first, and only later discovered Part One was on Facebook.
And that says something…
Platform Strategy: A Hidden Lesson
This made me realise: Myron Golden prioritised Facebook back then. That’s where he built deeper connections, where he hosted exclusive content, and where he now runs most of his live programs — especially via Facebook Groups.
A reminder for those of us building online: don’t treat every platform the same. Know where your community thrives, and serve them there.
The One Powerful Lesson: Time Is More Valuable Than Money
This entire video distilled into one life-altering insight:
❗ “Time is not money. Time is more valuable than money.”
We’ve been taught a lie. That Time = Money.
But Myron says that’s a flawed formula. And here’s why:
- You can lose money and make it back.
- But once you lose time, it’s gone. Forever.
Therefore, wealth should not be measured in terms of money, but in terms of time.
The Wealth Comparison Thought Experiment
Let’s put this in perspective:
- If Apuuli makes $1 million over 40 years, he earns $25,000 a year. That’s not broke, but it’s not wealth either.
- If Ateenyi earns $1 million in one year, he’s 40x wealthier than Apuuli.
- Amooti makes $1 million every month — now that’s serious wealth.
- And if Araali earns $1 million weekly, he’s 4x wealthier than Amooti.
🔑 Wealth is about how fast you can generate and regenerate value — not just how much you have.
So the question becomes:
❓ How can I spend money to buy myself more time?
Instead of spending time chasing money.
Until You Flip the Equation, You Can’t Create Wealth
Most people trade time for money.
But true wealth builders trade money to buy back their time.
That might mean:
- Hiring a team
- Automating tasks
- Outsourcing admin
- Buying tools that cut time in half
- Learning high-value skills that earn more in less time
Until you start making intentional decisions with this mindset, you’re just working harder — not wealthier.
Bonus Insight: How Myron Structured His Message
Aside from the content, I studied how Myron delivered the lesson:
- He opened with a personal struggle, about how misunderstanding this principle kept his family in survival mode.
- He set expectations: “Watch the whole video. Take notes. Comment. Share.”
He even explained why — because learning is active, not passive. - He made a promise: You’ll appreciate this principle, and it will change how you see wealth.
Simple, authentic, and powerful.
I’m learning that great content isn’t just about what you teach — it’s about how you lead people through it.
🌍 691 Views in 10 Years: Another Hidden Gem
As I watched this video, I noticed something striking…
📉 Only 690 people had watched it in over a decade.
And I might’ve been the 691st.
That taught me two things:
- If you’re reading this blog, you’re blessed — because this principle is rare, yet powerful.
- It’s not about how many see your work now. It’s about showing up consistently.
A decade later, someone’s life is being changed by a video that barely passed 600 views. - Video form content is better on YouTube than Facebook in the long term, since part two the other older videos posted there had views in the thousands.
So if you’re building something that doesn’t yet have an audience — keep building. Keep showing up.
One day, someone will say:
“That post, that video, that course — changed my life.”
