On Day 2 of my #MyronGoldenVideosOldestToNewestChallenge, I watched video 10 titled:
“Wealth Creation Part Two.”
Although the video was recorded years ago, the lessons in it are as relevant today as they were then — perhaps even more so in this age of knowledge monetization.
Let’s dive into what I learned:
⏳ 1. Value Time More Than Money
One of the earliest reminders Myron shared was this:
“Don’t chase money. Value your time more than your money.”
It’s a subtle shift with massive impact. Money is renewable. Time is not.
So instead of focusing on how to save a few shillings here or there, I’m learning to focus on how to spend my time on high-value activities — like creating, teaching, writing, and scaling.
💎 2. Know the Difference Between Cost and Value
This quote struck me:
“Poor people know the cost of everything and the value of nothing. Rich people know the value of everything and the cost of nothing.”
It’s not just poetic — it’s practical.
As a speaker and coach, I often meet professionals who are stuck because they only focus on cost — not value. They ask: How much will this training cost me? instead of How much more could I earn, impact, and grow if I became more fluent, persuasive, and visible?
From now on, I’m choosing to be value-focused — in how I price, invest, and serve.
🧮 3. The Two Formulas of Wealth
This was the real meat of the video. Myron shared two simple but powerful wealth creation formulas:
Formula 1:
High Value x Low Volume = Wealth
This is where you sell high-ticket products to fewer people. Think: coaching programs, masterminds, consulting retainers.
Formula 2:
Low Value x High Volume = Wealth
This is the Walmart model: sell affordable products to many people.
He credits Sam Walton (founder of Walmart and Sam’s Club) as the master of this second model.
But what blew my mind was this:
🧠 “You can do both.”
Start with low-value offers (a challenge, book, or toolkit), and ascend people to high-value offers (courses, masterminds, one-on-one coaching). That’s your value ladder.
I realized I’ve already been laying the foundation:
Fluency 101 is my front-end offer.
One-on-one coaching and future premium KBB programs will be my high-value back-end.
🧑💼 4. Why Most Employees Struggle to Grow
Another powerful insight:
Employees struggle financially because they are paid for low-value work, and they can only serve one employer at a time.
That’s a limitation entrepreneurs don’t have. If I create value through content, products, or platforms — I can serve 10, 100, or 10,000 people at once.
No boss can pay you for that scale. But your ideas can.
💰 5. Value Creation = Wealth Creation
If you want to earn more, create more value — and find ways to distribute it widely.
You can:
Sell a $20 product to 1,000 people and make $20,000.
Or sell a $200 product to 100 people.
Or even sell a $2,000 product to 10.
The math is flexible. But the principle is firm:
Create value. Deliver it at scale.
🎯 Bonus Meta-Lesson: Control Your Traffic
Parts 1 and 3 of this series weren’t even on YouTube.
Myron mentioned that:
Part 1 was on Facebook
Part 3 was hosted on his blog via Wistia
Brilliant.
Instead of giving everything away on YouTube, he intentionally used the platform to drive traffic to his ecosystem — where he can capture emails, build community, and make offers.
It made me reflect on my own neglected old site:
apuulibabigumira.wix.com — created over 12 years ago.
I didn’t know how to use it back then. But as Maya Angelou said:
“Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.”
Today, I know better.
And that’s why I’m building and writing consistently on apuulibabigumira.com — to own my traffic, share value, and grow this movement.
👊🏽 My Commitment
